NYY @ TB

1) Wade Davis: 98 pitches. FB, CB, SL, CU. 7 strikes swinging. 5 Fastballs, Curveball, Changeup.
  • Davis is a 6-5, 220 pound righty. The 24 year old righty has a big frame that can add a little more muscle to the lower body. He came from an over the top release with very clean and quiet mechanics. His fastball is a straight 4-seam. His cutter has some cut and some sink. His 2-seam that he will mix in has some run in on righties and a little sink. His change has some fade from lefties and a little sink that he can still fight the command of. He will throw it to righties. His curve is a 11-5 offering with average depth that can be a little slurvy. He will also mix in a big 12-6 breaker with above average depth as a get-me over pitch.
