8/3-8/8: Notable Minor League Transactions

  2. Pirates trade Mike Koplove (4-4, 1.76 with 2 teams at AAA) to Mariners for Deybis Benitez (.269-.367-.269 at High A and SS).

Released:

  1. John Hudgins (1-3, 4.33 at AA and AAA), Mark Prior (did not pitch), Brian Lawrence (4-4, 6.28 at AAA): Padres
  2. Jorge Julio (0-1, 5.96 at AAA), Wade Townsend (0-1, 13.50 at R): Rays

Placed on DL:

  1. Ryan Speier (1-0, 6.61 at AAA): Rockies
  2. Cody Satterwhite (4-5, 3.25 at AA): Tigers
