Chart Observations: 9/19 FLA @ CIN

1) Bronson Arroyo: 117 pitches. (FB, SL, CB, CU, Cut). 3 strikes swinging. Frisbee Slider, Changeup, Curveball.
  • Arroyo came from an over the top release while mixing in a variety of release points and showed a 12-6 curve with slightly above average depth that he will throw 2-0, a frisbee slider with solid bite, a change with good fade from lefties and good sink, a fastball with good run in on righties and good sink, a sharp 2-7 slider with good bite and a cut with some cut.

3rd: FB (87-88), FSL (69-76), CB (69)

4th: FB (88-90), FSL (71-77), CU (77-83)

2) Ricky Nolasco: 96 pitches. (FB, SL, CB, Split). 15 strikes swinging. 7 Fastballs, 5 Sliders, 3 Splitters.

  • Nolasco came from an over the top release and showed a fastball with some run in on righties, a split with some dive, a 2-7 slider with some bite and a 12-6 curve with above average depth.

  • Sanches came from a high 3/4 release and showed a fastball with some run in on righties, a 2-7 slider with good bite and a split with good dive.

8th: FB (88-89), SL (82)

9th: FB (88), SL (82), Split (77)

4) Ramon Ramirez: 10 pitches. (FB, SL, CU). 2 strikes swinging. 2 Changeups.

  • Ramirez is a 6-0, 190 pound righty. The 27 year old has a small frame that is maxed out. He came from a high 3/4 release in a max effort delivery, that appears to be fairly clean. His fastball has good run in on righties. His change has good fade from lefties and some sink that he will throw to righties. His slider is a 2-7 pitch with solid bite. Appears to have the stuff to be a solid middle reliever.

9th: FB (91-92), SL (80), CU (83-84) - 2 CU (Uggla - 2)

5) Dan Meyer: 4 pitches. (FB, SL, CU, CB). 0 strikes swinging.

  • Meyer came from a high 3/4 release and showed a fastball with a little run in on lefties.

9th: FB (92-93)

6) Matt Lindstrom: 8 pitches. (FB, SL, Split). 1 strike swinging. Fastball.

  • Lindstrom came from a high 3/4 release and showed a fastball with some run in on righties.

9th: FB (95-98) - FB (Rolen)
