Solid # 3 starter still and looks to be able to continue doing this for another couple of years.

I prefer him as a 1-inning reliever, where he can go at guys with his FB-SL combo and not worry about his other 2 pitches. As a starter, I think he is a # 5.

He seems like a solid long reliever to me, not too much more.

His slider is a 2-7 pitch with okay bite. His curve is a 12-6 offering with slightly above average depth. Typical middle reliever, and one that will likely be riding a bus back and forth from AAA.

Looks like a LOOGY to me, and one that is on the downturn.\

His slider is a 2-7 pitch with solid bite while his change has some fade from lefties with a little sink. # 5 starter at best and definitely not a good starter in the AL East.

He came from a high 3/4 release and straightens his arm on the backtake, similar to Ubaldo Jimenez and he has a very fast windup. His fastball has some run in on lefties. His change has some fade from righties and solid sink and is his best off-speed offering that he will throw to righties. His slider is 11-5 with okay bite. French's upside is that of a # 4 starter and he is likely pitching close to it now.

If I am an NL team, I try to acquire him, as I think he could be an above average middle reliever outside the AL East.

A guy who should be a solid middle reliever, but just struggles to put it together for some reason.
